#UrbanUpdates: The civilians in South Sudan have continued to endure the effect of the violence, the United Nations revealed.
The Human Rights Brief from the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) documented 222 incidents of civilian violence between April and June 2023.
The report states that 128 cases involved children, 395 civilians got killed, 281 people suffered injuries, 166 were kidnapped, and 29 fell victims of conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV).
